Welcome 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣4️⃣… please be kind 🙏🏼
My Lovelies,
Isabelle here 😘❤️! This week's quote, I'm sure, will be relatable to all of us. It discusses the hope that a New Year brings. That feeling we all get when the clock strikes midnight, the calendar switches, and we all feel the relief of having a blank slate before us. A whole new 365 pages to be written with new adventures.
As you all know, 2023 was an inexplicably and incredibly rough year for me, and this quote was a quiet reflection... a small prayer of sorts, on my behalf, if you will. This quote was me asking 2024 to be kinder to me, as well as a prayer leaving everything in my life in God's control for this new chapter.
This quote was precisely that, a reminder for me that there are things that I can't control (i.e., the loss of my husband) and that all I can do many times in life, what we all can do, as a matter of fact, is ride the wave. We have to remain resilient Ahem It's easier said than done Ahem and hope/pray for the best. In the midst of the unknown and the chaos, we must also remember that it truly is up to God (or the divine, the universe, or whatever you wish to call it) to help us write those new pages in the book.
For all of us who have moments like this, whether in the new year or not, let's all remember it's okay to start anew. It's a scary process, but it can be done. It may be difficult, but it can be done. In those moments when we feel sad, scared, or overwhelmed, we just need to stop and breathe and take a moment to make these silent prayers/wishes. To all hoping for a blank slate, I reiterate that it doesn't need to be a new year... they can be made at any time. If you need a "do-over" or a fresh chapter in your life... make it happen.
Until the next one, My Loves
XOXO Isabelle 😘❤️ XOXO
